MIMA LA VIDA

About Us

BIOMIMA is a non-profit Cultural and Environmental association, destined to be an Innovation hub for people's health and the environment.
We support transversal projects that merge Art and Nature. We support projects that monitor air quality and measure the impact on people's health.
We want a green tax system and create new ecosystems. More trees and more plants are healthier for everyone. We want to unite people and plants to breathe better, and activate a change towards a culture, society and economy that have a positive impact on life.

Biomima - Mima la Vida

We start in Madrid, Spain, but we identify as a global association.
BIOMIMA partners want a better future, and for this we have understood that we need more trees and plants that help absorb more CO2, produce oxygen, filter the air we breathe, hydrate and fertilize the earth, avoiding floods, landslides and the desertification, generating nutrients and antioxidants for future generations.

Approximately between 70-50% of the World's Plant Biodiversity is in danger of extinction, we need to integrate more plants into our life, to improve our health and the quality of the air we breathe.

OUR PROPOSAL

WE BELIEVE

We Want To Breathe Better

At BIOMIMA we are concerned about air quality in cities.

We want to have a positive impact on society by helping to cover CO2 rates from responsible institutions and companies, while supporting dancers, musicians and artists, enriching life in the city and supporting the creation of new ecosystems now and for the future.

With our BIONIC FESTIVAL project, we have donated 34 adult trees to residents and urban gardens of Madrid and Lisbon that in five years have absorbed 530 tons of CO2.

This is the equivalent of the emissions of almost 215 cars, of medium size and that travel approximately 10,000 kilometers every 12 months.

We want a green tax system and create new ecosystems. More trees and more plants are healthier for everyone. We want to unite people and plants to breathe better, and activate a change towards a culture, society and economy that have a positive impact on life.

MORE OXIGEN IN OUR CITIES

With our Cancer Query project, we have presented our first report and we are working to collect information on air quality and launch a free health app for consultation.
